"My Girls" by Animal Collective was the next track and to me it was not just about hearing the details in the treble but instead you could hear a crystal clear clarity that really brings you into the song. Instead, there was a richness where you could pick everything going on in the mids so I wanted to hear a track for the highs next. The mids did not seem as warm like when the highs and lows mix into a forgiving wall of sound. The precision of the bass lines was there but what really hit me was the low bass oomph which was really nice.
Now the first track I asked Vu to play was one I listened to on my own speakers the night before "Dazed and Confused" by Led Zeppelin. The picture online that best matches the ones I listened to is this pic I found. They are unimpressive boxes with two simple looking black drivers. In terms of looks they are not terribly impressive looking speakers and an odd size for fitting into a room bigger than normal bookshelves but not as big as say floor standers.

Now since outside of a few old posts online reviewing the AX-2 speakers and a couple reviewing the Zero System Audio Note put out almost every other review centered on the very expensive AN-E series so I thought I would post my thoughts here. Since they are not quite double the price I paid for my speakers that was quite a step up. I made this honestly clear to Vu when I went in and he suggested the Audio Note AN-K series was a good step up one day to my Heresy speakers. I was just curious since I liked the brand a great deal. In fact, in reality, I am not really in the market for new speakers. My favorite speakers the Audio Note An-E speakers have been reviewed heavily but were out of my price range even for the future. So when I originally went to Deja Vu the other day I really wanted to listen again to a pair of Audio Note speakers. Subreddit's theme is /r/Minimaluminiumalism.
